Taper Pipe Reamers

Taper pipe reamers are made with a taper of 3/4” per foot and are designed for reaming holes to be tapped with American Standard taper pipe taps. Taper reamer use prior to tapping with taper pipe taps provides threads of better quality and are recommended when tapping Dryseal, NPT,and Military Aeronautical Pipe Thread Specification, ANPT. The spiral fluted reamers have a left hand spiral. right hand cutting flutes.
